Robin L. Schmid
Robin Schmid has practiced law in Alaska for the last 25 years in all courts from Barrow to Ketchikan, Bethel to Tok. She is licensed in both federal and states court. She has spent nearly ten years in public service as a District Attorney, an Assistant Attorney General under Governor Palin and City and Borough Attorney for both Sitka and the North Slope Borough. She has also spent part of her career after this in private practice, defending people accused of serious crimes, as well as assisting persons in CINA, ICWA and juvenile cases.
She has been a member of the the Federal CJA (private court appointed defender) panel since 1993 and has experience in Social Security, contract law, wrongful discharge and property law.
