Attorney Roderick D. Woods is a summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York and a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University in Albany, New York.
While attending law school, he was employed as a litigation intern with the New York State Office of the Attorney General and was a summer associate with a leading Albany, New York law firm.
An experienced litigator with a proven record of success in civil litigation, he founded The Woods Law Firm, LLC, in Hartford, Connecticut in 2007, with a focus on representing individuals in a wide array of consumer litigation actions, including matters brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act.
In addition, Attorney Woods skillfully advises a range of businesses from sole-proprietorships to Fortune 500 companies in both litigation and transactional matters.
