Roger B. Cowie concentrates on commercial and securities litigation, class actions, antitrust litigation and government investigations. He has represented numerous officers, directors, and corporations in shareholder class actions, shareholder derivative actions, SEC enforcement actions, and government investigations based on allegations of securities fraud and breach of fiduciary duty.
He also works with life insurance companies in class action, mass action, and multi-district litigation over allegedly deceptive sales practices and in regulatory investigations. Roger also represents financial services companies in antitrust litigation and governmental investigations.
More recently, he has been working with our IP lawyers in defending our financial services clients in so-called “business method patent” litigation. Roger is also a Certified Public Accountant and the head of the Firm’s Securities Litigation practice group.
