Roland Christensen

A dedicated trial attorney, Roland Christensen has a passion for helping injury victims and their families hold responsible parties accountable. He has zealously advocated for plaintiffs across the nation, from the Gulf Coast and beyond. Roland has proven experience navigating cases involving catastrophic injuries, maritime injuries accidents, and wrongful death cases.

Though born in Bloomington, Indiana, Roland has lived across the country and globe, from Tokyo to London to Provo, UT. Settling down in Utah, Roland graduated from high school and soon after enrolling at Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies. After graduating, he went on to earn his J.D. from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. Roland was one of the top 20 students in his graduating class, earning magna cum laude honors.

During his time in law school, he served in the role of lead editor for the BYU Law Review. Roland also stood out by winning the negotiation competition for the school and scoring the highest on his briefs for his legal and appeals writing classes.

With a special focus on legal writing, Roland spent two years gaining experience as a legal writing teaching assistance, creating a 150-page manual used by first-year writing classes for BYU Law School. He also had his comment, Behind the Curtain of Tort Reform, published in the BYU Law Review. It discusses the common myths and misconceptions surrounding tort reform.

While at law school, Roland gained further experience in various areas of the law, serving as an intern within the Southern District of Texas for the Honorable Lee H. Rosenthal. Additionally, he worked for the Criminal Appeals Division of the Utah Attorney General and was a summer associate for numerous prestigious firms throughout Houston.

In 2015, Roland joined the Arnold & Itkin team as a law clerk. After being admitted to the Texas bar in November of 2016, Roland joined our firm as an attorney.
