Ronald Kenneth Anguas is a litigation partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Ronald’s practice focuses on complex commercial cases at both the trial and appellate levels. He has been involved in a variety of litigation matters involving difficult statutory, constitutional, and regulatory issues.
Before joining Kirkland, Ronald served as a law clerk to Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He holds degrees in law, business, and government from Harvard University.

Showtime Networks v. Charter Communications — Counsel for Charter Communications in programming contract dispute.
Williams v. BASF Catalysts LLC— Counsel to BASF in putative nationwide class action alleging multi-decade fraud on litigants and courts in asbestos litigations across the country.
Hercules Capital, Inc. — Counsel for Hercules Capital, Inc. in an action alleging misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract.
Arabian Support & Services Co. v. Textron Systems Corporation— Counsel to Textron Systems Corporation in lawsuit alleging breach of contract and tortious interference.
FTC v. Wyndham— Counsel for Wyndham Worldwide Corporation and affiliated entities in lawsuit brought by the Federal Trade Commission alleging that Wyndham’s data-security practices constituted “unfair” and “deceptive” trade practices under Section 5 of the FTC Act.
In re City of Detroit, Michigan — Appellate counsel for creditors Syncora Guarantee Inc. and Syncora Capital Assurance Inc. Successfully obtained writ of mandamus for clients, resolving procedural delays in the case.
