Ronni Solomon co-leads our E-Discovery practice.  She has significant experience managing e-discovery in crisis litigation that spans multiple regulatory, investigatory and civil matters and helping clients ensure that e-discovery does not become a costly sideshow. A certified Project Management Professional, Ronni uses her experience and skills to ensure that e-discovery activities are run cost-efficiently, defensibly and consistently.

Ronni also serves as National E-Discovery Counsel for large corporations, providing guidance on e-discovery issues across all or a portfolio of litigation. She also works with clients on information governance issues. She develops and updates records management policies; email, IM and mobile retention policies or acceptable use/device management policies; and records retention schedules. She also helps clients defensibly delete data that is no longer needed for business purposes.

Ronni has been recognized for e-discovery in Chambers nationally since 2013 and globally since 2014 and was recognized in the eDiscovery section of Who’s Who Legal: Litigation 2017 and 2018.

She was appointed by U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Batten to be on a committee to provide recommendations regarding amending local rules to address e-discovery issues, was co-chair of the Electronic Discovery Subcommittee of the Pretrial Practice and Discovery Committee of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association and is the former Director of the Atlanta Chapter of Women in E-Discovery.

Previously, Ronni was a corporate discovery specialist for one of the largest e-discovery companies in the industry. In that role, she advised in-house counsel of large corporations on electronic discovery strategies. She applies the knowledge she gained on the vendor side to help clients select the most efficient e-discovery tools and strategies, significantly reducing their total vendor and review costs.

Ronni is also an adjunct professor on e-discovery at the University of Georgia School of Law.
