Rosemary L. Corsetti

Rosemary Corsetti has a broad background in commercial litigation as well as health care and nonprofit corporation law. She has experience in acquisitions and mergers, and has been the firm’s primary Health Care attorney responsible for coordinating, and closing, transactions nationally. She also has experience in corporate governance and reorganization, as well as general corporate practice.

Rosemary has represented not-for-profit health care systems as they have reorganized nationally and for-profit corporations in transactions including the formation of foundations. With her many years of mergers and acquisitions experience, she helped form a national chain of for-profit, long-term care corporations. As a result of that successful endeavor, Rosemary was named vice president, secretary and general counsel of a national chain of 77 long-term care facilities, where she served for five years.

Following the sale of that corporation, Rosemary held the title of executive vice president and general counsel of a chain of 58 nursing homes in 12 states. Today, Rosemary is in-house general counsel to a chain of 33 long-term care facilities. In these in-house roles, Rosemary manages all outside litigation counsel and leads all acquisitions, divestitures and regulatory work while maintaining her practice at Buchanan.
