Ross Meiners founded Meiners Law Office, PLC in 2009 to focus exclusively on filing bankruptcy cases for individuals and businesses. Mr. Meiners’s practice emphasizes Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings.
His past law experience that he incorporates into his current practice include bankruptcy, real estate, tax, estate planning, and litigation.
Mr. Meiners’s completed cases include discharging debt related to personal household debt, real estate investing, small businesses debt, self-employment debt and personal guarantees, tax debt, and navigating complex divorce issues.
Through the years he has battled creditors against abusive tactics, and many of his strategies involve incorporating the very latest developments in bankruptcy case law to keep one step ahead of his client’s creditors.
In addition, he has been called to testify as an expert witness on bankruptcy matters during trial litigation in Arizona Superior Court.
He has spoken at a judge’s forum on the topic of mortgage lien removal in Chapter 13 bankruptcy, served on a Save Our Home AZ panel advising homeowners on mortgage loan default and foreclosure prevention issues, and received Certificates of Appreciation from the local bankruptcy judges for his contributions to the local bankruptcy community and court.
Attorney Meiners graduated summa cum laude from The University of Arizona with degrees in Political Science and Economics, and earned his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees at the University of San Diego.
He is admitted to practice in the courts of Arizona and California, the United States Bankruptcy Court, the Federal District Court, the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
