Ryan J. Stevens is a former felony prosecutor in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Mr. Stevens dedicates his legal practice to criminal defense (felony, misdemeanor, and DUI), personal injury, constitutional rights litigation, and expert trial work all across Northern Arizona, including Coconino County, Yavapai County, Navajo County, Mohave County, Apache County, Maricopa County, the Navajo Nation, and the Hopi Tribal Lands.
Mr. Stevens defends serious felony cases in U.S. District Court (Phoenix/Prescott) and U.S. Magistrate Court (Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Page, Kingman).
Mr. Stevens led the defense team in a first degree murder jury trial, in which he secured a “Not Guilty” jury verdict. After spending two years in jail on a $1 million bond, Mr. Stevens’ client was fully acquitted of murder and went home to his family the day of the verdict.
Mr. Stevens also, in early 2017, litigated a civil forfeiture case to dismissal, resulting in over $100,000 being returned to his client. Further, Mr. Stevens obtained policy limits on a dog bite injury case for his deserving client.
