Ryan C. Tzeng is an associate in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Los Angeles – Century City office. Mr. Tzeng’s practice focuses on assisting public and private sector employers and plans in various aspects of employee benefits, including complying with the requirements under ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code and other federal laws and regulations.
He also has significant experience in plan design, qualification of domestic relations orders, reporting and disclosure requirements and determination letter applications. Mr. Tzeng has extensive experience assisting plan sponsors in correcting failures through the IRS’s voluntary correction program, EP voluntary closing agreement program and the DOL’s delinquent filer voluntary compliance program and voluntary fiduciary correction program, and representing plan sponsors before the PBGC.
