Sabrina Poulos is a partner in the Austin office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She has experience in all aspects of intellectual property strategic counseling, diligence, prosecution, acquisition, and licensing. Her intellectual property counseling work includes competitive analyses, patentability analyses, freedom-to-operate analyses, and non-infringement and validity analyses.
Sabrina has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the U.S. and throughout the world, including Europe, China, Japan, Brazil, Russia/Eurasia, Canada, India, Mexico, South Korea, and Australia, and she has extensive knowledge of the patent laws in multiple jurisdictions.
She has negotiated and drafted license agreements, collaboration arrangements, material transfer agreements, and clinical trial agreements, and has performed IP due diligence for license agreements, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and IPOs. She also has experience drafting and negotiating S-1 Registration Statements, Underwriting Agreements, 10-K, and 10-Q statements. Sabrina represents a wide range of companies, including biotech, pharmaceutical, veterinary, nutraceutical, medical device, medical diagnostic, Internet, and aerospace companies.
Prior to her legal career, Sabrina worked as a research associate at Houston-based Lexicon Genetics, engineering knock-out mice.
