Sam Snider focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private placements, including corporate minority investments and corporate JVs, and to date has closed more than 75 M&A and capital transactions with aggregate value in excess of $12 billion.
Sam also has extensive experience providing both legal and commercial leadership on cybersecurity matters, complex commercial negotiations, and privacy/HIPAA matters. Sam has represented companies in a wide range of industries, focusing on technology, healthcare and industrial companies. He is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional.
Sam comes to DLA Piper from one of the country’s leading health information technology businesses, where he served as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, leading the legal and cybersecurity functions. Prior to this position, he was Vice President and Lead Acquisition Counsel for a FTSE 100 information and analytics company, where he led the global M&A legal function. Sam was also part of the Corporate practice at a leading international law firm.
