Samantha Porphy Ade is a senior associate in the Austin office of King & Spalding and a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Ade primarily represents large commercial clients in complex trial, regulatory, and appellate matters in state and federal courts, agency proceedings, and arbitration, with an emphasis on professional liability defense and alcoholic beverage distribution litigation and regulatory compliance. She has represented clients in the manufacturing, accounting, construction, alternative-energy, power, and technology industries.
Before joining King & Spalding, Ms. Ade obtained her J.D., with high honors, from the University of Texas School of Law, where she was the managing editor of the Texas Law Review. Ms. Ade also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Priscilla R. Owen in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and to the Honorable Lee H. Rosenthal in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
