Samuel Lehman

Samuel Lehman is a litigator with broad experience representing individuals and corporations in civil and criminal matters. Sam has represented clients in antitrust matters before the Federal Trade Commission, in ERISA class-action litigation in federal district court, and in investigations by the Department of Justice, Department of Transportation, and the Department of Labor.

Sam’s clients operate in a variety of industries including health care, retail, airline, and government contracting. Sam also maintains an active pro bono practice litigating child custody cases in state trial and appellate courts, recently taking a child support case to trial in Maryland and appealing a child custody case to the Michigan Supreme Court.

He also filed a cert-stage amicus brief before the U.S. Supreme Court in a religious freedom case, Sterling v. United States, on behalf of LTC Kamal S. Kalso, D.O., A.S.A.R., an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves who was the first Sikh member of the armed forces to be permitted to serve on active duty with a turban, beard, and unshorn hair in more than twenty years.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Sam served as a law clerk for Judge Stephen Glickman of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
