Samuel M. Kroll represents hospitals, managed care organizations, physician groups and integrated delivery systems, focusing on structuring transactions and joint ventures and advising health care providers in the areas of antitrust, managed care, contracting and regulatory issues.
In addition to his health care background, Mr. Kroll has extensive real estate experience, which includes the development, sale, acquisition and financing of all types of properties; lease negotiation and drafting; and structuring tax deferred like-kind exchanges.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Kroll was a partner with Clark & Stant, which merged with Williams Mullen in 1999. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Beach Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
Active in a variety of civic organizations, Mr. Kroll is past president and member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Beach Forum and the Executive Board of the Tidewater Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
He received his law degree in 1985 from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary, where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the William & Mary Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University.
