Sandro Serra focuses his practice on technology transactions, including licensing and business agreements as well as mergers and acquisitions involving complex technology issues. Sandro advises on a wide variety of technology transactions, including IP licenses, product sales and distribution agreements, software licenses, open source licenses, co-development agreements, digital media and content deals, joint ventures, marketing agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements and online sales and service agreements for websites and mobile apps. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US, International Association of Privacy Professionals).
Prior to Pillsbury, Sandro worked as in-house counsel at an innovative Austin-based technology company, where he handled routine business agreements of all types and sizes, from smaller pilot projects to complex enterprise license arrangements exceeding $3 million.
He has particular experience with companies utilizing software as a service (SaaS), social networking and e-commerce platforms. Sandro is a United States Air Force veteran.
