Sandy Schlesinger is a member of Venable’s Labor & Employment Group. She focuses her practice on litigation, internal investigations, and counseling in employment and traditional labor matters on behalf of clients in the education, financial services, and hospitality industries, among others. Sandy also has experience advising on health and welfare plans, and on state and local leave laws.
Sandy’s recent experience includes working with a major private university facing breach of contract and fraud claims; a food retailer in connection with an EEOC charge; a technology consulting company regarding non-competition and non-solicitation laws; a college facing discrimination claims in an investigation by the Office for Civil Rights; a large mining company in drafting an employee benefits plan; and a New York school regarding state and city leave laws.
