Sandy Tomasik is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group. Ms. Tomasik joined Debevoise in 2015. From 2016 to 2017 she clerked for the Honorable Henry Pitman of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Ms. Tomasik received a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law summa cum laude in 2015. She graduated as the Salutatorian of her class and was an associate managing editor of the St. John’s Law Review. Ms. Tomasik was the recipient of the Dean Mary C. Daly Memorial Prize for the highest grade in Professional Responsibility, the St. Vincent de Paul Legal Program, Inc. Child Advocacy Clinic Award for the most outstanding overall contribution to the clinic and the Federal Scholars Award. She received a B.A. summa cum laude from St. John’s University in 2013. Ms. Tomasik is admitted to appear before the Second Circuit and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Ms. Tomasik is the author of “Can You Understand This Message? An Examination of Hurley v. Irish-American Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual Group of Boston’s Impact on Spence v. Washington,” 89 ST. JOHN’S L. REV. 265(2015).
