Sara Falk focuses her practice on commercial and government contracts litigation. She has a broad range of experience handling contract disputes, bid protests and other issues for federal government agencies. Admitted only in Maryland. Not admitted to D.C. but being supervised by a licensed D.C. Bar member.
Prior to joining Fox, Sara worked as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Education. She gained extensive government contracts experience in this role. Upon graduating law school, Sara served as a Presidential Management Fellow in the U.S. Department of Labor.
Sara was a Dean’s Fellow at the American University Washington College of Law and served as a student attorney in its International Human Rights Clinic where she received a highest grade distinction award.
She was also a Note and Comment Editor on the Business Law Review. Her Comment on copyrighting color in the fashion industry won second place in a nationwide writing competition. During law school, she received a certificate of excellence for the legal rhetoric writing exam and an award for oral advocacy.
She had two legal externships with the U.S. Department of Justice, one in the Criminal Division and one in the Civil Rights Division. Sara also worked as a law clerk in the U.S. Department of Transportation and as a legal intern in a Washington, D.C. law firm.
She represents survivors of domestic violence pro bono in custody and divorce cases through the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project. She enjoys baseball, dance, fashion and traveling.
