Sara Summe Josey is a native of Kentucky but grew up primarily in Raleigh, North Carolina. She attended North Carolina State University and is a huge Wolfpack fan. During her time at NC State, Sara majored in Political Science and minored in History and French. To help achieve her French minor, Sara spent a summer abroad studying in Lille, France.
After graduating in three years summa cum laude, Sara attended Campbell Law School, also located in North Carolina. During law school, Sara participated in moot court and worked at several firms in the Raleigh-Durham area.
During the summer of 2011, Sara worked for Rappahannock Legal Services and Kurylo Gold & Josey focusing primarily on family and estate planning issues. After graduating from law school in the spring of 2012, she moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia, to join her husband, who works for the Navy.
After a summer of studying for the bar exam, Sara took and passed the Virginia State Bar and joined Kurylo Gold & Josey as an associate. Sara practices primarily family law and estate planning.
