Scott H. Barbag is an associate in the Las Vegas office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. Mr. Barbag’s practice includes all aspects of employment and labor litigation representing businesses of all sizes, as well as their management and employees in employment-related lawsuits.
This encompasses numerous areas, including employment contracts, wage and hour issues, claims of harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination, and retaliation based on race, gender, age, disability, pregnancy and religion.
In addition to litigating in state and federal courts, Mr. Barbag defends employers in arbitration, before the Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Mr. Barbag also provides preventative counseling to employers on various employment related issues, including employee terminations and discipline, disability accommodations, drafting and auditing employee handbooks, preparing employment and severance agreements, and compliance with wage and hour laws.
