Scott Irwin works with his clients to structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial and real estate finance transactions. He regularly counsels national and regional banks, private equity funds, hedge funds, insurance companies, and other lenders, as well as companies seeking debt financing from financial institutions.
He has extensive experience representing both lenders and borrowers in connection with a wide variety of loans, including general commercial loans, acquisition loans, working capital lines of credit, asset-based loans, commercial real estate loans, public finance transactions, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity transactions.
Scott regularly assists his clients with intercreditor issues, loan acquisitions and dispositions, loan workouts, and foreclosures. He also regularly oversees the issuance of debt finance opinions for both real and personal property collateral.
