Scott J Schweickert

Scott J. Schweickert was born in Spring Valley, Illinois, in 1988. He is the youngest son of the firm’s named partner, Douglas Schweickert. Scott is a graduate of Augustana College (Class of 2010) and Loyola University Chicago School of Law (Class of 2013).

Throughout law school, Scott assisted with complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases as a law clerk at one of the most prestigious personal injury law firms in Chicago. He also worked as a research assistant for the Honorable Thomas M. Donnelly of the Circuit Court of Cook County.

Immediately after graduating law school, Scott gained admission to the bar in the State of Florida and started a successful solo practice in Coral Gables, Florida. He returned to his family and friends in Illinois a year later and joined his father, Doug, at Schweickert & Ganassin, LLP.

Since then, Scott has focused his practice on representing the rights of the injured and their families and already has multiple six figure judgments to his credit. Scott is also the Assistant Corporate Counsel for the City of Peru. He is admitted to practice in both Illinois and Florida.
