Scott Stevenson

Scott M. Stevenson enables clients to practice at the top of their profession without worrying about adverse consequences of potential litigation. A tireless and determined advocate for his clients, he has specialized in medical malpractice throughout the last three decades and has tried cases on behalf of physicians, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living centers in virtually every county throughout western North Carolina.

Scott’s principal areas of practice are physician and nursing negligence, as well as nursing home, assisted living and hospital negligence, and compliance issues. Confident in court, he has successfully defended physicians from virtually every medical specialty.

He is licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina and has appeared and argued in both appellate courts in the state court system of North Carolina as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Scott has been recognized both locally and nationally for his skills in defending health care providers.
