Sean Doherty, a senior associate in the New York office, is a member of the firm’s Corporate Transactions & Securities Group. Sean focuses his practice on the capital markets, including equity and debt offerings, corporate governance, and securities compliance.
Notably, Sean serves as outside general counsel to various domestic and foreign companies, focusing on a variety of commercial and corporate entity issues.
Sean has assisted a number of clients achieve tax-exempt status through the firm’s pro bono initiative, most recently for an entity engaged through his involvement with the Human Rights Campaign.
In 2010, he received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Hofstra Law Review. He received his B.A. in history, with high distinction, from The Pennsylvania State University in 2007.
