Seth Fortin is an associate in the Litigation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Atlanta office. Mr. Fortin works primarily in complex civil litigation. He has litigated mortgage-backed securities cases on behalf of a major financial institution, a fraud action on behalf of an investment fund against its general partner, and a dispute over construction of a large fertilizer plant.
He also has experience litigating consumer class actions, including a class action lawsuit against a sports museum and cases regarding consumer credit reporting. He has also maintained an active pro bono practice. Mr. Fortin clerked for Judge Dean D. Pregerson in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Before practicing law, he served in the U.S. Army and worked in entertainment.
