Shamar J. Toms-Anthony assists clients with various aspects of trial preparation, including legal research and the drafting of motions and other legal memoranda. As a summer law clerk at the firm, he researched and drafted memoranda on issues involving copyright, real property, and contracts litigation.
While in law school, Shamar served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Otis D. Wright, II, of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In this role, he conducted legal research on issues including patent, product liability, and labor and wage laws, and worked closely with law clerks to prepare orders for Judge Wright’s approval.
Before attending law school, he was a teacher at Manual Arts High School and a Teach for America corps member in Los Angeles, California.
