Shari Goodstein has 30 years of extensive trial, arbitration and mediation experience, and litigates matters in federal and state courts in New York, Connecticut and throughout the country.
She has a varied litigation practice focusing on complex business litigation, employment law disputes including non-compete, trade secret, wrongful discharge and wage and hour violations, and products liability litigation. She has represented clients in multi-district litigation and class and collective actions.
Shari also conducts internal investigations, including of claims of unlawful harassment, wage and hour violations, and issues under the False Claims Act. Shari has been conducting sexual harassment prevention training for over 20 years, and is a frequent presenter on employment law and commercial litigation topics.
Prior to joining Shipman & Goodwin, Shari was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York and also practiced as a business litigator in a national New York firm.
