
Shaun Boedicker focuses his practice on the regulation of electric utilities and oil pipelines by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). He represents electric utilities in a variety of matters under the Federal Power Act, including Section 205 and Section 206 rate proceedings, Section 203 approvals for mergers and acquisitions, Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA) proceedings, and investigations into utility practices.
Shaun also assists oil pipelines before FERC in a variety of matters, including declaratory order proceedings regarding contract rate structures and terms of service, market-based rate applications, and in complaints filed by shippers. He prepares testimony and briefs and assists in preparing witnesses in FERC hearings, and also assists in preparing briefs at the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.
