Shawn Seung Min Lee is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Banking & Finance practice. Prior to law school, Shawn served in the Republic of Korea Army for nearly two years as a Korean Augmentation To the United States Army (“KATUSA”) in Camp Humphreys, South Korea.
Shawn was a squad leader and Sergeant within the US-Korea coalition force. He won the Army Achievement Medal, awarded by the United States Department of Defense.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Shawn worked for the Honorable Howard D. McKibben, a Senior United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada as a judicial extern. Shawn also worked for two Korean law firms as a winter associate and summer associate.
Shawn received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Toronto. Shawn participated in the joint JD– LLM in Taxation program, and received his JD and LLM in Taxation degree from New York University School of Law. He is fluent in Korean.
