Shelina Kurwa is an associate in the Corporate Department. She earned a dual-degree J.D./MBA from NYU School of Law and the Leonard N. Stern School of Business. In law school, she served as an executive editor for the school’s Law Review, participated in the Technology Law and Policy Clinic, and focused her research and studies on trademarks and intellectual property.
She concentrated her business school studies on deal structure, negotiation, and the entertainment industry, earning specializations in Entertainment, Media & Technology; Corporate Finance; and Leadership and Change Management.
Shelina interned at Lionsgate Television in business affairs, and at NBCUniversal’s USA Network in original scripted series programming.
She graduated from Princeton University, where she majored in media and aesthetics in the German Department, and minored in film studies.
