
Shusmita Chowdhury is a member of Baker McKenzie’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group. Ms. Chowdhury primarily advises pension funds and other institutional investors on alternative investment fund matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Chowdhury was an associate at the New York office of an international law firm headquartered in Philadelphia, and was in-house counsel at Partners Group in New York and Guernsey, Channel Islands.
Ms. Chowdhury advises clients on their investments in domestic and international private equity funds, real estate funds, infrastructure funds, debt funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, fund of funds, captive funds and separate accounts.
She also advises clients in connection with secondary investments. Ms. Chowdhury has experience in advising fund sponsors on fund formation and ongoing investment matters.
