Sommer Wiss is an associate and litigation attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment and Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practices. She originally joined Foley in 2017 as a summer associate.
While in law school, Sommer was a student prosecutor for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office pursuant to Supreme Judicial Court 3:03 Certification, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Stephen M. Limon in Suffolk County Juvenile Court.
Education :
Sommer earned her law degree from Boston College Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2018), where she served as a staff writer for the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review (2016-2017) and as a senior editor for the Boston College Law Review(2017-2018). She also received the Top Oralist award in the Boston College Moot Court Competition and competed in the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in politics and psychology from the University of Virginia (B.A., 2015).
