Sona Ashchian Tatiyants is the founder of Lynk Law having offices in Glendale and Sherman Oaks in California. Her practice areas include Estate Planning, Trusts and Estates, Solo and Small Firm, Business Law, Elder, Wills & Probate, and Corporate Law.
The State Bar of California has certified her as a legal specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law. She received the YWCA Glendale Heart & Excellence Award in 2018. The Los Angeles Magazine named her in the Top Attorneys List in the Southern California’s Outstanding Young Lawyers category for Estate Planning and Probate Law in the years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.
The National Advocates named her in the Top 40 Under 40 list for her exceptional work in the Trust & Wills practice in 2016. The Pasadena Magazine honored her with the Top Estate Planning Attorney Award in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
She received the Wiley W. Manuel Award For Pro Bono Legal Services from the State Bar of California in 2004. She is a member of professional associations such as the Trusts and Estates Section of both the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association as well as the WealthCounsel.
The LA Business Journal nominated her for the Women Making a Difference Award in 2014 and 2015. She became the nominee for Women in Business Awards by San Fernando Valley Business Journal in 2015 and 2016. In 2015, she was Trusted Advisors Nominee for Valley Business Journal.
She is highly passionate about networking and has a vast network of hand-picked professionals. She is the co-founder of The Exchange LA, which is the answer to modern networking and includes minorities, non-profits, and women. She also serves as the head of the Glendale chapter.
She is on the executive-committee board of a networking group for professional women called Women to Women. It is an ever-expanding group of personal and professional contacts, which she shares with her clients.
She is a wife, mother, business owner, and an attorney, who understands the importance of having a plan in place and how overwhelming an estate plan can feel. She guides her clients through every step of the planning process. With the help of her strong team of attorneys and support staff, she builds lasting relationships with her clients to meet their needs as their families grow and change.
She obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of California – Santa Barbara with honors in 2001. She went on to attend the Southwestern University of Law and received her Juris Doctorate cum laude in the year 2005. She became a member of the State Bar of California after passing the bar exam in the same year.
She strongly believes that tax-law expertise is essential to best practice in estate planning, and hence she has obtained a Masters of Law in Taxation degree (LL.M.) in estate planning and taxation from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles.
She joined the law firm Glauber Berenson in 2005 and started working with the Law Offices of James F. Miller, P.C. in 2009. In 2010, she set up the Tatiyants Law, P.C. and finally in 2015, she established her current law firm Lynk Law, Inc.
