Sophia Hamid Shaikh

Sophia H. Shaikh, a Partner at Kaufmann & Shaikh, L.L.P., has practiced in a wide variety of areas over the past 13 years.

She is well versed in all aspects of corporate formation and governance, contracts, elder law, trusts, wills, estates and family law.

Sophia enjoys serving as Conservator of the Estate and Person and is familiar with Medicaid, and Long Term Care Planning  Following graduation from law school she served in the Non-Profit sector as General Counsel to a variety of Non-Profit Organizations in the District of Columbia before returning home to Connecticut.

In addition to her law practice, Sophia has served as Chair of the Board of Trustee’s for the Oak Grove Montessori School in Mansfield.
