
Spencer Isaac Eldred is experienced in all stages of real estate transactions and advises clients on the intersections of land use and real estate. He has represented government agencies dedicated to land acquisition in high-profile and high-stakes transactions.
He has advised government agencies on acquisitions, sales, land use decisions, and improvements. He also advises clients on coastal land use, zoning, title, and CEQA issues.
Spencer previously worked as a legal fellow at an international environmental advocacy nonprofit on environmental justice issues. He later served as staff counsel for state and local government entities.
Spencer earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Duke University. He earned his law degree from The University of Chicago Law School, where he was president of environmental law and animal law student organizations.
Spencer remains involved in the local community, working on pro bono matters related to open space access, environmental education, and environmental equity. Spencer is fluent in Spanish.
