
After clerking for Chief Judge Carl E. Stewart of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, Stanley E. Blackmon joined the firm as a member of the Appellate and Litigation Practice Groups. Stanley is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was heavily involved in oral advocacy and brief writing competitions, resulting in his induction into the Order of Barristers.
He also served as an Articles Editor of the Alabama Law Review, was named to the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, was elected as a member of the Student Bar Association Senate, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
Stanley received his Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) from Mississippi State University, where he was a Presidential Scholar and received the Spirit of State Award, the university’s premier student award.
