Attorney Seeger’s practice is primarily comprised of Criminal Defense cases, Appeals, and General Litigation (Civil and Family).
At the Federal level, Attorney Seeger has represented clients in Constitutional challenges to State law, as well as Federal Civil Rights cases involving Excessive Force, Illegal Seizure, and Discrimination.
Attorney Seeger’s White Collar Crime experience extends to matters such as Tax Evasion, Securities Fraud, Obstruction of Justice, Investment Advisor Fraud, Wire Fraud, and Mortgage Fraud. He has also represented Defendants Indicted in Federal Organized Crime cases involving allegations of Racketeering, Hobbes Act Extortion, Illegal Gambling, Conspiracy, Weapons, Narcotics, and Drug Importation.
In addition to these Federal matters, Attorney Seeger has also represented people in Deportation/Removal proceedings for Immigration violations stemming from State and Federal criminal convictions, at both the Federal Immigration Court level, and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
He has represented clients seeking student, employment, and marriage related Visas, as well as those seeking Asylum. Attorney Seeger has also Petitioned the Supreme Court of the United States for Certiorari, and conducted Criminal and Habeas Appeals before the Second Circuit.
At the State level, and as a Criminal Defense Attorney, Stephan Seeger has represented hundreds of clients, having conducted Jury Trials involving charges ranging from simple possession of marijuana, explosives, and D.W.I., to complex weapons possession, witness tampering, manslaughter, strangulation, kidnapping, and burglary.
In addition, Attorney Seeger has represented criminal defendants in multiple murder cases tried to Jury Verdicts. Lastly, he has represented convicted defendants before the Connecticut Court of Appeals, and the Connecticut Supreme Court.
