Stephanie discovered her love for the law when she was in college, graduating with a minor in Legal Studies. Later, she acquired a Paralegal AS degree with honors and went to work for a successful family and personal injury practice in Alabama.
During the next four years, while working as a paralegal, she developed a love for family law and helping people who were injured in car accidents. After three successful years of law school, including a law clerk position with the Honorable Magistrate Hubler of the Denver District Court and an internship with the Children and Family Unit of Colorado Legal Services, Stephanie began her practice at a well-respected family law firm in Northglenn.
Stephanie is a Child and Family Investigator and Guardian ad Litem, doing pro bono work for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center involving domestic violence cases and protection from abuse petitions.
Stephanie accepts CFI state pay appointments regularly from esteemed judges throughout the Denver metro area.Stephanie is regularly invited to present at local continuing education seminars for the legal community and has presented on multiple topics, including child therapist patient privilege, protection orders, domestic violence, and strategies in domestic violence cases.
Stephanie is a new mother with a beautiful little girl that brought an entirely new spin on parenting time and decisionmaking cases, along with bringing more impact to CFI investigations and recommendations.
In her spare time, Stephanie loves Colorado and all of the festivals and activities it offers and she is originally from Florida. She is a talented musician and vocalist and enjoys being a part of the worship band at her local church. Stephanie enjoys movies, reading, swimming, traveling, computer gaming, and spending time with her family and friends.
