Stephanie Laufer Duran is an Associate Attorney at PJI Law.
She returned to her native Northern Virginia after earning her Honors Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto, and two law degrees from the University of Detroit-Mercy and University of Windsor (Canada), where she was one of a small group of individuals to complete the ambitious dual-degree program.
While attending law school, Ms. Duran participated both in Windsor’s Legal Aid program and the University of Detroit-Mercy’s Elder Law Clinic, which provided legal services to Detroit’s low income, elder community.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Duran gained admission to practice in all Virginia state courts as well as the Eastern District of Virginia.
She invested a number of years in vigorous private practice before joining PJI Law to apply her wide-ranging experience to the benefit of the firm’s clients.
Ms. Duran has extensive litigation experience and focuses on divorce, custody and other family law matters, as well as business law and estate planning.
