Stephanie L. Matherne represents clients in a wide range of litigation matters with an emphasis on family law. Her experience in family law matters includes : Child support, Divorce, Mediations, Pre- and postnuptial agreements, Protective orders.
Stephanie has handled complex property division matters, including business valuations and tracing of separate and community property. She also has experience in complex child custody cases, including matters involving the UCCJEA and the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
In addition to family law litigation, Stephanie’s practice includes general and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Fox, Stephanie was a litigation associate at a family law boutique firm in Austin, Texas.
During law school, she served as a student attorney at the Domestic Violence Clinic and the Human Rights Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law. Additionally, she was a legal intern at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the Texas Advocacy Project.
Stephanie is an active member of the Association of Rice Alumni and a member of the Genesis Young Leaders in Dallas.
