Stephen A. Cohen

Stephen Cohen focuses primarily on complex business litigation matters. While in law school, Stephen worked as a summer law clerk within the National Security Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. There, he assisted with trial preparations and conducted research. He also drafted memoranda responding to jurisdictional and evidentiary questions in international terrorism cases.

Additionally, Stephen worked as a law clerk within the Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchanges Commission where he assisted enforcement staff members with the preparation of whistleblower recommendation documents.

Stephen also participated in the Federal Legislation Clinic at Georgetown University Law Center where he advocated for clinic clients by addressing legal and political issues and developing creative solutions to the problems posed by those issues.

Through his clinic participation, Stephen drafted advocacy documents, which he used to lobby staff members of several U.S. Senators and Representatives at their offices in the U.S. Capitol.

Stephen received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as the senior managing editor of Georgetown Immigration Law Journal and participated in various pro bono projects.
