Stephen Lynn Hardin

Steve primarily works in the areas of: Property; Wills and Trusts; Bankruptcy; Debt Relief and Restructuring; Probate; Family Law; Contracts; Guardianships; POA’s; and Personal Injury.

Steve grew up in eastern Arkansas, where his family had a lumber-hardware store and also operated a small family owned farming operation. This background made Steve aware of many aspects of business and legal issues and taught him that hard work pays off.

Throughout his legal career, Steve has served on several boards and committees. Some of these include: County Library Board; Regional Library Board; Chairman United Way Board; Vice President and Executive Committee Mid South Health Systems; Work Force Investment Board; City Planning and Development Commission; and Area Chamber of Commerce.

Steve graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law at Little Rock, where he was an honor graduate; Associate Editor of the Law Journal and was the top student in several classes, including: Property I, Property II, Torts I, Torts II, Agency and Partnership; Local Government Law; Civil Procedure I; Civil Procedure II; and Administration of Criminal Justice. He was also the top student in his section of Decedents Estates and Trusts.

Church has always been important to Steve and he has served in several capacities: Administrative Council Chair; Trustee; Chair Pastor Parish Relations Committee; Lay Leader; Sunday School Teacher; and Stewardship Chairman. He has also served as a district trustee and on the statewide Conference Stewardship Committee.

In addition to his years of experience, Steve is also a graduate of the ABA National Compliance School at the University of Oklahoma and the Mid South Delta Leaders Initiative (representing Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi) and is a trained and commissioned Stephen Minister.

Recently, Steve received the Arkansas Life Magazine Reader’s Choice Award as one of Arkansas’s favorite lawyers in general law practice.
