Steven Aleck Harris

Steven Harris has helped individuals throughout the State of Alabama obtain debt relief through the Bankruptcy Courts, file for divorce and other family law matters, and has also helped individuals with various civil matters, practicing extensively in both the Alabama State Court and the Federal Court systems.

Mr. Harris practices mainly in the areas of bankruptcy, divorce, family law, wills and estates, and some personal injury. Mr. Harris is mainly a bankruptcy and divorce lawyer that represents clients in courts throughout the State of Alabama and places particular emphasis on obtaining the best possible outcome, while also reducing the stress on the client and making the legal process as informative as possible for them as well.

Mr. Harris is originally from the State of Alabama, growing up in the Northern Jefferson County area. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated with both a B.A. and M.P.A. degree.

Later he attended Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, and graduated with his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2007. He is licensed to practice in all Alabama State Courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama.

Mr. Harris is also a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, Montgomery Bar Association, Huntsville Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Central and North Alabama Better Business Bureau, Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce, and the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce.

He founded the law firm with the hopes of allowing more people access to legal representation by offering attorney’s fees at lower flat fee rates instead of the traditional retainer based billing.
