Steven S. Yamin

Steven  Yamin has been a civil litigator in California since 2004. Mr. Yamin started M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers to champion the rights of individuals who have been injured or killed as a result of the negligence and wrongful conduct of other individuals or entities.

Mr. Yamin’s practice focuses on clients who have been wronged, injured and need expert representation to vindicate their rights against otherwise unhelpful and uncooperative insurance companies.

Mr. Yamin represents individuals who have sustained injuries in connection with motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, auto vs. pedestrian accidents, premises liability or slip/trip and fall incidents, and animal attacks, among other areas.

Prior to co-founding M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers, Mr. Yamin served as a senior associate with a well-respected real estate law firm and as an associate in the business litigation departments of two large firms in Los Angeles.

Mr. Yamin has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state court in numerous areas including personal injury, wrongful death, civil litigation, commercial landlord-tenant matters, lease disputes, unlawful detainer and evictions, and a variety of other litigation and risk management issues.

Mr. Yamin’s notable commercial litigation results include representing the owner of the Kodak Theatre in complex litigation involving breach of contract and indemnity claims against the contractor and designers of the Theatre and obtaining a 12-0 jury verdict in favor of his client.
