Sujit B. Kotwal focuses on strategic counseling and patent portfolio development, with an emphasis on software and computer-related technologies. With more than 20 years of patent experience, Mr. Kotwal has counseled a diverse set of clients including individual inventors, start-ups, mid- and large-sized companies, including Fortune 500 companies. From 2013 to 2016, Mr. Kotwal served as the co-team leader of Kilpatrick Townsend’s Electronics and Software Practice, one of the largest patent prosecution practice groups in the United States.

Prior to joining the legal profession, Mr. Kotwal worked as a software engineer/architect in Silicon Valley for five years. Mr. Kotwal still considers himself a techie-at-heart.
