Susan Chung-Mi Yu

Susan C. Yu specializes in complex criminal, civil and medical board trials in federal, state, and administrative courts.  Susan grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended four distinct “segregated” schools in Chinatown, Diamond Heights, the Inner City, and Burlingame.

Susan’s parents owned a Jewish Deli in San Francisco, where she learned to make matzo ball soup like a “pro.”  Susan received her B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Soviet Politics from the University of California at Berkeley and her J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, where she was a Dana Hinman Scholar and inducted to the College of Law’s Dean’s Honor List and Justinian Honorary Law Society.

Susan also served as Editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. In addition to English, Susan speaks Korean, Russian and Japanese.
