Susan provides sound legal counsel to help clients navigate the complex process of civil litigation. She has successfully litigated a broad range of commercial disputes, including personal injury and product liability, real estate, construction, employment, trade secrets, probate, and natural resources matters. Susan’s litigation practice reaches across Wyoming to help clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to sole proprietors.
Susan is a member of the firm’s Workplace Safety/Emergency Response group, which responds to and manages the legal implications companies face following serious accidents, explosions, and similar catastrophic events. As a resource to clients, she provides complimentary training in emergency response and OSHA/MSHA matters before incidents have a chance to occur.
Actively engaged in the Jackson Hole community, Susan is a member of the Jackson Hole Rotary Club, the Holland & Hart Foundation’s Jackson Committee, and Leadership Wyoming. She also sustains a pro bono practice, through which she has successfully represented clients in disputes involving probate, adoption, and civil rights.
Before joining Holland & Hart, Susan served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth F. Ripple of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Susan is licensed to practice in Wyoming state and federal courts, and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fourth, Seventh, and Tenth Circuits. Susan graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 2001.
