Susan began her legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in San Diego, later spent time working on a complex litigation matter at the law firm Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro in California, and then worked in health care as a hospital and hospice chaplain in California and Colorado.
During law school Susan worked as a consultant at the University-based Family Law Clinic, drafted appellate briefs while an intern for the New Hampshire State Appellate Defender, and honed her research skills as a law clerk for Justice Souter at the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
Having gone through a divorce herself, Susan understands the unique challenges that parents face when their children are at the center of litigation.
Susan brings a compassionate presence to her work with clients, works toward settlement when possible and is a fierce advocate in the courtroom when litigation is the best course of action.
