Tamara Tenney concentrates her practice on health care regulatory and policy matters, assisting a wide variety of health care entities in navigating complex statutory and regulatory frameworks.
She works with health systems, hospitals, physician groups and post-acute providers and suppliers to address regulations and policies issued by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Office of Inspector General (OIG) of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Tamara has significant experience in a wide range of regulatory matters, including contracting, operations and regulatory compliance specifically with the Stark Law. Her practice also includes business advice and counseling on Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and policies.
Tamara received her J.D. in 2006 from Yale University, where she served as an editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation and a co-chair of the chapter of a national mentorship program for young women in New Haven.
She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in 2003 from Denison University, where she was valedictorian and Phi Beta Kappa and received the President’s Medal, the university’s highest honor for intellectual achievement and contributions to the community.
